Cassie, a Seal Point Himalayan, is yet another rescue through a member of The Pet Adoption Network. We got her as a sixteen week old kitten. She was born with a genetic eye disorder which left her blind in her right eye. She was taken from the breeder because he was going to use her in his breeding program, regardless of her condition. Once she was old enough (and healthy enough), our vet surgically removed the diseased eye and she's doing fine. She's very playful - often to the distress of our other older cats. Maybe it's because of her vision problem, but her whiskers are the largest we've ever seen.
